PX: Product Owner / Product Manager / UI & UX Designer
What To Expect
One department, yet 3 disciplines. Product Owner, Product Manager, UI/UX Designer โ held by the same person, on purpose.
At most companies these three are split across different people who then have to negotiate with each other. We think that's where great product experience goes to die. The person deciding what to build, how it should feel, and whether it's ready to ship should be one person. So that's how we've built it.
You'll start where first impressions are made: designing and building conversion-driven landing pages in Framer. From there, you'll grow into the authenticated product experience โ sign-up flows, onboarding, dashboards, and the connective tissue that makes a suite of tools feel like one ecosystem.
On the three disciplines: we don't expect you to arrive fully formed across all of them. Most candidates will lean heavier on one or two โ designer-first, PM-first, owner-first. That's fine. We'll mold you upwards from wherever you are, as fast as you can handle it. The faster you grow into the seat, the higher we place you โ and equity scales with that. We try to place every PX hire as high as possible, as quickly as possible. The ceiling is set by you, not us.
On cold email knowledge: required for the role โ if you already have it, that's a significant bonus and accelerates your ramp. If you don't, we'll train you on the job. Either way, by month 3 you should be designing and prioritizing for deliverability intuitively.
This is a full-time, long-term role for someone who wants to build a category-defining career at the intersection of product, design, and deep technical understanding.
What Makes PX Different Here
At most companies, "Product Experience" is a vague label spread thin across marketing, product, and design teams that don't talk to each other. The landing page team optimizes for conversion. The product team optimizes for engagement. The design team optimizes for consistency. Nobody owns the full arc.
We built PX as its own department for a reason.
PX owns every touchpoint a customer has with us โ from the first time they see one of our landing pages to the moment they're a power user across multiple products. Pre-login and post-login. Marketing surface and authenticated app. One department, one philosophy, one person accountable for the experience holding together end-to-end.
That's why this role exists. PX isn't a function we delegate. It's a strategic pillar of how we compete โ and the person in this seat shapes it.
What You'll Do
Learn the domain deeply โ Immerse yourself in cold email deliverability: domains, warmups, sending behavior, inbox placement. The deeper you go, the better every decision becomes.
Own the design system โ Build the components, patterns, and tokens that hold across a growing suite of products.
Ship landing pages that convert โ Design and build high-converting pages in Framer that turn complex value props into clarity.
Define product, not just decorate it โ Decide what gets built, in what order, and to what bar. Write specs. Set priorities. Push back when something isn't ready.
Grow into full product ownership โ Take sign-up flows, onboarding, dashboards, and full customer journeys across multiple products as you scale with us.
Work directly with founders and engineers โ No middle layers, no proxy PMs. Ideas to shipped experiences, fast.
Make complex things feel effortless โ Merge leading patterns with powerful infrastructure so users get depth without friction.
What You'll Bring
The hard requirements are short, and they're absolute:
Unparalleled drive โ you outwork the room, not because you have to, but because you can't help it
Speed โ you ship faster than people expect, without sacrificing the bar
Quality โ your work is among the best in your field, and you know it without needing to be told
Self-belief โ you consider yourself top-tier in your primary discipline. If you don't, this role won't work, and you won't enjoy it
On top of that, we expect:
Cross-disciplinary fluency โ you've operated as some combination of designer, PM, and product owner, and you're comfortable not having a clean job title
Strong design instincts, with Figma proficiency
Framer proficiency, or the appetite to become fluent fast
A track record of shipping work that actually converted, retained, or moved a metric โ not just looked good
Ability to translate complex systems into clear visual and informational hierarchies
Comfort writing specs, prioritizing ruthlessly, and saying no
Curiosity for technical topics and the discipline to learn fast
Ownership mindset โ you'll treat this ecosystem as your craft, not an assignment
Cold email domain knowledge is a major bonus if you bring it. If not, we train you.
